Our Yorkshire Farm star Amanda Owen has revealed that another animal at Ravenseat Farm is pregnant.
She shared the exciting news while filming in the Yorkshire Dales with husband Clive and their nine children.
The large family were thrilled at the vets when it was revealed their sheepdog is pregnant.
The Channel 5 programme follows the family’s farm lifestyle.
Fans were delighted by the news that there will be puppies included in the show soon.
47-year-old Amanda, took her sheepdog with a few of her children to the vets.
The dog was very calm while the vet performed the ultrasound on her to see if she was expecting.
The vet pointed to the monitor to a puppy that could be seen and announce the exciting news.
The vet said: “It’s just there, that’s its head and that’s its spine, and that bit there is the puppy.”
Amanda was overjoyed by the news that her pooch is expecting.
She said: “I actually feel quite emotional.”
Innocently, one of Amanda’s children asked the vet is they were going to get the puppy out today.
The vet had to explain to the little girl that the pooch was not quite ready to give birth yet.
Amanda also added that Kate, their dog will “push when she’s read.”
The mother-of-nine later spoke to the audience about the exciting news.
She said: “We are looking forward to Kate’s puppies, it’s all about a connection with the land and wildlife, and nature.
“Animals are all that the farm is about, whether it’s farm animals or pet animals.
“Everywhere you look there are animals and I think the kids have a fantastic connection with the animals here.”
The pregnancy has come after the sad news that their other sheepdog, Bill had died aged 15.
The first episode of the new series of Our Yorkshire Farm premiered on October 5.
Viewers watched as episode one saw the large family battle extreme pressure of taking care of their animals in a blizzard during last winters lockdown.
