Jamie Redknapp, 48, has gushed over his ‘intimate’ wedding photos from the big day when he tied the knot to model Frida.
Former footballer Jamie married Frida Andersson, 38, earlier this month in a low-key ceremony in West London.
However, until now, he remained tight-lipped about the day itself and most of the details remained a secret.
Not many photos came out from the joyous occasion, which the couple shared with Jamie’s parents Harry and Sandra, and other close family and friends.
But Jamie released unseen photos for fans for when the nuptials took place, on Saturday night on Instagram.
He uploaded black and white photos of the couple exchanging their vows, tenderly embracing and another of them laughing.
Other snaps include the bridge and groom standing during what appears to be wedding speeches.
He also shared another post of images of his Best Man, believed to have included his two sons and brother Mark.
Jamie shares Charlie, 17, and Beau, 12, with his ex Louise Redknapp.
Alongside the pictures, he gushed over the big day.
He wrote: “We wanted to share some moments from our special day.
“It was a very small intimate wedding with friends and family.
“Thanks so much for all the kind messages.”
He also thanked their photographer David Yarrow, adding: “It was an honour to have you there to capture it.”
Within hours of the snaps going up, tens of thousands of fans liked the post including followers and celebrity friends.
Many offered their congratulations and left heart emojis on the post.
Footballers Gary Neville, Robbie Keane, and Jermain Defoe were among the well-wishers.
Jamie Dornan, John Bishop, and TOWIE star Mario Falcone also shared their congratulations.
Jamie and Frida are expecting their first baby together, believed to be due before the end of the year.
Jamie was married to Louise for 19 years before they split up in 2018, who is said to have been “shocked” by the revelation of his new wife.
A source claimed to New! Magazine: “It’s very mixed emotions for her.
“In one respect she’s happy for him and she knows they have to move on, but part of her is finding it very tough because the family’s adjusting, there’s someone new and there’s going to be a new baby.
“She didn’t have time to prepare because Jamie wanted to be married before the baby was born.”
Another claimed she felt “blindsided”.
