Adele swore and was forced to restart her performance as she admitted to being nervous in front of a star-studded crowd.
The singer had began belting out a rendition of her latest hit Easy On Me during An Audience with Adele on Sunday evening.
However, she stopped the band and asked to restart after saying she wa sh**ing herself”.
ITV bleeped out the curse word and Adele went on to give a show-stopping rendition of her latest single.
The moment Adele turned the air blue didn’t go unnoticed by eagle-eyed viewers at home.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “Thats why I love Adele, She’s not stuck up her own a**e…Bare jokes.”
Another added: “Adele is an absolute icon. What a women.”
A third person posted: “Awww! Adele getting nervous on stage.”
While a fourth social media user said: “Adele is so hilarious.”
The singer said she felt ’emotional’ to be back on stage in the UK for the first time in four years as she performed for the likes of Andrew Lloyd Webber, David Tennant, Naomi Campbel and Catherine O’Hara.
Her sports agent boyfriend Rich Paul also joined the crowd of A-listers and the singer’s family and friends.
Taking to the stage, Adele admitted: “I got really emotional. I haven’t been home for so long and I haven’t played a show here for so long.
‘”‘m very, very nervous! Course I b****y am.”
“I’m a big fan of An Audience With – it used to be the highlight of my life whenever it was on- I’m so thrilled to be doing it tonight, very very excited.’
Adele hasn’t performed a concert in the UK since her Wembley Stadium shows in June 2017.
Adele unleashed her long-awaited fourth studio album titled 30 on Friday.
The star recorded the record following her split from 47-year-old Simon Konecki – with whom she shares a nine-year-old son named Angelo.
Adele is set to make a comeback next year, having recently announced live shows in London in 2022.
