While the conditions of the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! camp might not be glamorous, outside the castle walls, contestant Louise Minchin has a stunning home that has wowed fans.
The former BBC Breakfast presenter lives in a gorgeous house in Chester with her husband David, their two daughters Mia and Scarlett and two cute Labrador dogs, called Ruby and Waffle.
Sharing photos of the home with her 72,000 followers on Instagram before joining I’m A Celeb, fans were wowed by the huge home.
One photo shows Louise and one of her pet pooches in the living room, which boasts high ceilings, cream walls and a grand fire place, perfect for cosying up during the winter months.
Louise’s two dogs love to snuggle up by the fire too and have been seen in many photos cuddled up together of an evening.
She shared a photo of Ruby and Waffle cuddled up together by the fire, saying “ahh finally they made friends. Snoozing by the fire.”
Fans were delighted by the photo, with one saying: “Lovely cosy fire Louise and the dogs seem content,” while another called the moment “beautiful.”
Fitness fanatic Louise’s marathon jersey can also be seen draped over the grey sofas in the photo, along with a basket of medals in the centre of the room.
A fan of cycling, her bike can be seen in the distance by the patio doors, which open out to a large walled garden, where there is plenty of space for Louise to exercise.
In another photo, Louise can be seen sitting on the lawn in her walled garden wearing sunglasses and a running outfit after training for an indoor relay, with Louise smiling as she hugs one of the pooches who has been running around in the garden.
In more recent photos however, after Louise shared photos of the foot she injured while training for a marathon, fans could see that the living room walls have now been painted grey and the wooden floors have been replaced with a beige carpet.
Last year during the first lockdown, she also showcased the grey carpeted staircase in her home, which is framed with a dark wood banister, as she ran up and down the stairs in a video to continue her marathon training.
Louise shared the video with the caption: “Right now I should be running the London Marathon. Instead to support all the charities, which would have benefited, I have done my own version of the Twopointsixchallenge – 26 times up and down my stairs with one for luck.
“It was harder than I thought it was going to be!”
She has lived in the home since 2012, when BBC Breakfast moved from London to the new studio in Salford Keys, Manchester.
However earlier this year, Louise announced that she would be leaving the programme after more than 20 years as a host.
She told viewers: “I have absolutely loved being part of it and I will really miss it, but it’s time now to stop that alarm early in the morning. And thank you for watching for all these years.”
