Strictly the Real Full Monty fans in tears as Brenda Edwards reveals cancer scars

ITV’s Strictly the Real Full Monty left viewers rather emotional as Brenda Edwards revealed her breast cancer scars to Coleen Nolan.

The Loose Women stars shared a heart to heart as Brenda expressed her worries regarding stripping naked in front of strangers.

However, Coleen gently encouraged Brenda and told her she wanted to see the scars on her chest.

When Brenda eventually opened her blouse, singer Coleen reassured her colleague and shockingly questioned: “Is that it?”

Seeing the heartwarming scene unfold, viewers hopped onto Twitter to share their thoughts on the pair.

One fan penned: “Brenda you’re amazing! Coleen you’re always there for people!”

A third fan shared an emotional response and said: “I’m crying my eyes out at Brenda’s cancer battle. My sister died age 37 from the same stage 3 breast cancer 9 months after discovering the lump. Brenda you are amazing!!”

“@brenda_edwards What a wonderful strong role model to everyone , breaks my heart to see you go through so much pain and be scared. But you should be very proud of yourself, what a beautiful woman you are,” a fourth Tweeter added.

Coleen was supportive to Brenda throughout the show

Since Monday night, Brenda has openly expressed certain aspects of her upbringing that many were unaware of.

The Loose Women panellist who lost her parents at a young age in a car accident admitted that she wanted to make her aunty Pam- who grew her up- proud.

The star also explained that due to her aunt being rather strict on her during her upbringing, she was unsure whether she would be happy for her to take off her clothes in front of the British public.

However, to her surprise, Brenda’s aunt was more than pleased for her to participate in the show and wished her the best of luck.

Elsewhere on Tuesday night’s programme, dancer James Jordan and his wife Ola Jordan expressed their pain losing James’ father to cancer earlier this year.

The professional dancers expressed that even though they were happy to welcome their first child in 2022, they were met with sadness when James’ father sadly passed.
