The Masked Singer UK judge Rita Ora hints characters could be friends of hers

Rita Ora has provided a helpful hint to viewers of The Masked Singer that some of her friends could be characters on the show.

The TV judge, 31, is readying to wow the nation on New Years Day as the much loved clue-finding programme returns for it’s third series.

In apprehension of the ITV hit making a comeback on January 1st, it appears the Anywhere hit maker could have given fans a vital clue about this years contenders.

During a discussion ahead of the launch show, Rita admitted that she’d not stuck with her gut in the past when considering chums of hers.

This time however, she has vowed not to give in to her initial intuition.

When asked about the instances where her pals had appeared on the programme, Rita explained: “That’s true, yes.

“The thing is I do actually mention my friends. I talk myself out of it though but I do need to stick with my gut.”

This year, Rita’s been brushing up on a number of brain refreshers sessions to ensure that her guesses are on point.

Speaking about her tactic for out witting the other panelists, the songstress commented: “I tend to try and remind myself of names and things, just to refresh my brain but there is no real way of setting yourself up because it could be anybody.

“It’s fun going in blind actually.”

The Masked Singer fans were wondering if the TV star would be invited back to judge this year after she’d been forced to apologise after she’d broke lockdown rules.

Rita decided to go ahead with her 30th birthday plans at a Notting Hill restaurant even though the rest of the UK faced touch Covid-19 restrictions,

At the time, only small gatherings of people could come together.

The Sun newspaper exposed the singers bash which showcased around 30 people in attendance.

After Rita’s event had came to light she did accept that her party at Casa Cruz in West London had breached the coronavirus rules.

In a statement, the chart topper apologised and admitted “a serious and inexcusable error of judgement” that had been based on a “spur of the moment decision”.

It appears that the show will be returning to it’s usual format, including host Joel Dommett and judges Mo Gilligan, Davina McCall, Rita and Jonathan Ross all reprising their roles.

The panelists are responsible for solving the riddles and working out who could be the famous face hiding behind the wacky and outrageous mask.
