Former EastEnders star Danniella Westbrook, best known for playing recurring character Sam Mitchell on EastEnders from 1990 to 2016, was glowing in an Instagram post she shared with her 74.4k followers.
In the selfie snap, Danniella, 48, can be seen pouting as she runs a hand through her short blonde hair.
In the picture, Danniella, who has recently been undergone surgery for a sinus infection, opted for an ultra glam make-up look with loud eye-liner.
She captioned the shot: “Good morning world.”
The EastEnders legend is trying to remain optimistic and upbeat during her isolation period as she suffers from Covid-19 – she opened up to her followers about how she had to spend the festive break alone.
In another selfie, she told fans, “I hate Covid” and added, “so I had to isolate away from my kids and family this Christmas.”
The former Celebrity Big Brother contestant revealed that her daughter Jody has also been struck down by the virus for the second time.
Danniella’s 19-year-old daughter Jodie previously said on her social media: “Sorry Mrs Jones. I know you’re worried about that lump, but I’ve really got to give a booster to this healthy 25-year-old who has already had two jabs and one very mild bout of Covid.”
Previously, the former Albert Square resident was informed that she may require surgery to prevent a repeat of the sinus infection she has been battling with, as doctors feared the infection could possibly “trackback to her brain” due to the antibiotics not working.
The EastEnders star previous revealed that after catching Covid in August, her mental health had deteriorated.
She said: “It was severe, severe depression, I was literally getting out of bed just to eat and sometimes not even to wash.
Talking to The Sun about her nasal condition, a source said: “Danniella is really poorly. She ended up in ICU after antibiotics for a sinus infection didn’t work.”
The mother-of-two’s previous drug use had been heavily documented in the press throughout the years, as she famously had her nose reconstructed after her septum collapsed from excessive cocaine use in 2002.
In a 2018 interview, Danniella said her cheekbone was “wasting away”, and she had “screws” in her mouth instead of teeth.
In October, the sober TV personality unveiled her new face as she underwent a number of cosmetic procedures, including Botox and fillers, in several areas to achieve the new look.
