Love Island star Malin Anderrson has shared her heartbreak after discovering an evil online troll who bombarded her with horrible messages for months was actually her childhood friend.
The pregnant reality TV personality, who shot to fame on the ITV2 dating show back in 2016, revealed the details of her story during a chat on the Made By Mamas podcast.
She explained that in a bid to find out who was behind the trolling, she hired a private investigator as the heartless keyboard warrior threatened to throw acid in her face and mocked the death of her first child, Consy.
Malin’s daughter sadly passed away shorting after her birth four weeks in intensive care.
While her baby girl was in a critical condition, Malin was faced with disgusting messages by a mystery social media user, who encouraged the influencer to “unplug” her daughter’s tubes.
The trolling came to a head after Consy’s tragic death and Malin decided to take matters into her own hands to find out exactly who was behind the abuse.
She told podcast hosts Zoe Hardman and Georgia Dayton that the digging led to a shock discovery that her friend was behind one of the hideous accounts.
Mailin explained: “I found out a few people that were trolling me.
“One was actually like an old childhood friend that was really nice to me and still in my life. One was someone that lived down the road.
“A few from different points in my life, like years ago – but you know, I’ve never fallen out with anybody.”
“It’s interesting to see, because I kind of laughed and thought, ‘S***, you’re still watching me?'”
Malin went on to discuss her fears ahead of the birth of her second child, a baby girl, just two years after Consy passed away.
She revealed how she felt “a lot of PTSD had come up” during her second pregnancy over things that “she hadn’t really dealt with” after her tragic loss.
The TV star said: “When you’re pregnant, you don’t have the coping mechanisms you usually do – can’t go out with friends, go and have a drink.

“I’ve managed to get through it, but I’m just kind of waiting for it to be over. I’ve suffered a lot with my mental health in this pregnancy.”
Malin announced she was expecting a baby girl back in August 2021, where she gathered with friends and family for a glam gender reveal bash.
It came as she revealed that her second baby girl would be sharing “the same due date” as Consy, who was born premature at 33 weeks.
Malin discussed her second pregnancy on Instagram, sharing a nude photograph of herself in the bathtub as she celebrated her “loving and attentive” partner.
