Dancing On Ice fans fume Liberty Poole was 'done dirty' with 'embarrassing' outfit

Dancing On Ice fans aren’t too impressed with Liberty Poole’s costume with many viewers claiming the Love Island star was “done dirty”.

Liberty was told by her skating partner Joe Johnson that she would be dancing to Madagascar’s Move It, and as she stormed around the ice, she donned a wild zebra costume.

The Love Island babe had a black and white striped leotard on with a mesh cut-out in the centre as her cleavage peeked through.

She had a wild mane placed on her head with the black and white feature piece towering over her partner to match her outfit.

Liberty also donned zebra makeup with a black lippy and black eyeshadow on her lids.

Meanwhile, Joe was dressed as a Lion as he showed off his crazy mane in the all brown outfit.

Liberty scored a respectable 27, her highest of the series so far, but she had a slight wobble in the routine which unfortunately cost her a mark.

However, while she had done a stellar job for the second week of the show, fans couldn’t help but think that Liberty looked a little “disappointed”.

Taking to Twitter, one user wrote: “Ohh why did they dress Liberty up as a zebra. She didn’t look comfortable at all there.”

Another wrote: “Oh poor Liberty what is this.”

A third person said: “I feel like they did Liberty dirty with this routine and costume.”

Others were frustrated with the choice in general, with one person adding: “Could have chosen a proper decent song choice for Liberty.”

In one of the Dancing On Ice fan groups, one person stated that Liberty looked “embarrassed”, adding: “Poor Liberty, she looks so embarrassed and uncomfortable.”

Speaking to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield after her routine, Liberty confessed that she was forced to watch YouTube videos of zebras to truly get into character.

The star said she was working on “releasing her inner zebra” as she appeared alongside her skating partner.

Although Liberty had a slight tumble, fans were still impressed with her progress, but will it be enough to see her through to next week?

Dancing On Ice continues Saturdays on ITV at 6pm.
