Holly Willoughby's most eye-popping Dancing On Ice dresses and Ofcom complaint-worthy outfits

Holly Willoughby has faced backlash in the past over her sensational Dancing on Ice outfit choices. However, the TV presenter continues to be daring with her fashion despite previous Ofcom complaints.

In the past, viewers have been unhappy with Holly’s eye-popping outfits that some have described as “not appropriate” and “too sexy” for for an early-evening show.

However, the 40-year-old host appears to have let complaints against her outfits on last year’s show roll right off her back, choosing to prepare for the Dancing on Ice press launch with a plunging crimson number.

Here’s a full breakdown of all the outfits Holly has worn on Dancing on Ice previously.

Crimson gown

Holly chose to continue her daring outfit choices despite previously facing Ofcom complaints

On her most recent appearance on the latest series of Dancing on Ice, Holly donned a revealing red, floor-length gown made by luxury bridal designer, Lihi Hod, who previously worked for Dior and John Galliano.

The dress – which some speculate was custom-made for Holly – showed off the host’s cleavage to full effect. She paired the flowing gown with heels from luxury brand Rene Caovilla, with sparkly drop earrings by W Salamoon & Sons, completing the look.

Unlike previous outfits, viewers praised her outfit and “flawless” skin, with her Instagram showing off her full look receiving more than 22,000 likes within an hour of posting.

Pink embellished gown

Her pink embellished gown was hit with an Ofcom complaint

One of her outfits from last year that was hit with an Ofcom complaint was a beautiful pink gown embellished with crystals.

The sparkly dress from Dany Atrache’s Fall/Winter 2020-2021 collection which Holly wore for last year’s Dancing on Ice launch night was branded “inappropriate” by many viewers.

People took to Twitter to complain about the dress which boasted a feathered skirt and low-cut neckline. with one user asking: “Why does Holly wear that type of dress on a family show?”

A second person wrote: “Why doesn’t Holly dress appropriately for being at an ice rink. What a totally inappropriate outfit!!”

Another one commented: “Why does Holly have to flash her boobs every time. It’s a family entertainment show. I just don’t get it. I would think so much more of her if she dressed like a lady and covered them up. #dancingonice “.

Holly finished the look with a small pair of earrings, a loose wavey hairstyle and subtle yet smokey eye makeup.

Fans were obsessed with her look, taking to the comments section to shower the star with compliments, which included: “This is too adorable,” “Beautiful! can’t wait to tune in again,” and: “Wow beautiful dress Holly [heart emojis].”
