Coronation Street hunk Sam Robertson has had quite the ride as resident ladies man Adam Barlow.
The Scottish actor has made his mark in Weatherfield over the years as his character enjoyed a string of flings with the female residents including Maria Connor, Rosie Webster and Eva Price.
In fact, he even hooked up with his uncle’s partner Carla Connor before finally marrying Sarah Platt.
So perhaps it comes as no surprise that the latest storyline for Adam will see him and wife Sarah pick up a nasty stalker in the build-up to Valentine’s Day.
However, for Sam, his real-life couldn’t be further than the man he plays on screen.
Footballer ex
Sam, 36, was famously linked to ex-ladies footballer and BBC Sport pundit Alex Scott after they were spotted enjoying a cosy date together.
They were seen enjoying a cosy candlelit dinner and drinks at London’s Dean Street Townhouse back in September 2018.
However, the romance was short-lived because they couldn’t get any privacy and found themselves all over the news after just one date.
Alex explained: “My one date in ages was going out with Sam [Robertson], who is lovely.
“The next morning, our pictures were all over the press because someone in the restaurant had taken a photo.
“It wasn’t exactly a great start!”
Co-star ‘fling’
Sam was controversially rumoured to have had a fling with his Coronation Street co-star Faye Brookes aka Kate Connor.
At the time the actress was on a break from her relationship with pop star Gareth Gates.
At the time a source alleged to The Sun: “It was the talk of the Coronation Street set when Faye and Sam hooked up.
“Sam was a good friend and a shoulder to cry on. Before they realised it, one thing had led to another. But Faye was keen to make things work with Gareth and put a halt to things with Sam going any further.”
Ultimately Faye and Gareth reunited and got engaged in 2019, but ended their romance for good just a few months later.
Neither Sam or Faye have ever confirmed if they had a romance.
Reality TV stint
During his break from appearing on Corrie between 2007 and 2016, Sam took part in 2013’s Celebrity Big Brother 11.
He finished 10th after nine days in the house alongside his fellow celebrities including Steps star Claire Richards, EastEnders Kathy Beale actress Gillian Taylforth, Rylan Clark and US reality stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt.
He was the second housemate to be evicted in the series after he failed to win viewers over despite his popularity with the ladies thanks to his chiselled good looks.
Throwback snaps
Historical snaps from Sam’s 2004 Coronation Street debut showed him looking totally unrecognisable to the suave sculpted appearance we’ve grown accustomed to these days.
His original stint in the show between 2004 – 2007 saw the actor join the cast at just 18 years old as Ken Barlow’s badly-behaved grandson Adam.
The pictures show him looking fresh-faced with floppy pushed forward hair and a far cry from the model-good looks he displays today.
