Jill Halfpenny has distracted Channel 5 viewers as she appeared in gripping new drama The Holiday.
The former EastEnders actress, 46, appeared in the first instalment of new series as she takes on the lead role in the adaptation of T.M. Logan’s book of the same name.
In the thriller, Jill plays policewoman Kate who goes on a Mediterranean escape with her friends and family – but all is not as it seems and the trip is doomed from the start.
Fans tuning in to watch the drama unfold couldn’t help but notice that Jill, 46, who is best known as EastEnders police officer Kate Mitchell, is still every bit as beautiful as ever.

Posting on Twitter viewers noted how amazing Jill looked as Kate as the run of episodes got off to a curious start on Tuesday (March 1).
One wrote: “Jill Halfpenny has hardly changed at all. She looks gorgeous.”
Another added: “Wow how pretty is Jill still. None of that fake look either a real natural beauty.”

A fourth keen social media user Tweeted: “Jill is such a babe she’s out here giving Sheridan a run for her money.”
Another noted: “Can we just recognise that Jill Halfpenny is an absolute rocket.”
Viewers of tonight’s episode saw a teaser for what is to come from the series as a teaser clip played out at the end of the show saw the group of friends trying to escape a fire in the grounds of the villa where they are holidaying.

Kate is then seen walking to a cliff edge and peering over at a blood-stained body on the rocks below leaving fans guessing about who may be about to die.
The smart choice appears to be Kate’s husband Sean who raised his wife’s suspicions by texting a mystery woman behind her back throughout the episode – potentially one of her closest friends.
The Holiday continues Wednesday, March 2, on Channel 5 at 9pm
