Kim Woodburn has turned 80 and to celebrate her monumental milestone, we’re taking a look at some of her biggest clashes.
The TV legend is known for her fiery ways and short temper, and well, just not putting up with any rubbish.
The confrontational pensioner has become a fan favourite over the years among all of the TV programmes she’s starred on such as Celebrity Big Brother and I’m A Celebrity…
All of which she has suffered her fair share of confrontation, which she most certainly isn’t afraid of.
Let’s take a look at some of her most heated moments…
Nicola McLean
In January 2017, Kim Woodburn joined the cast of Kim Woodburn Celebrity Big Brother.
During this reality TV stint, she got caught up in many a row, including a few with ex glamour model Nicola McLean.
Nicola, 40, ended up wanting to quit the show after her feud with Kim took its toll, however, show bosses encouraged Nicola to stay after she threatened to walk twice.
Though Kim and Nicola went at things once more – just hours after Kim had been removed from the house following another explosive clash.
The night before, Kim was forced to spend the night in a spare room after verbally slating Nicola in a foul-mouthed rant.
As Nicola poured her heart out in the Diary Room, Kim told fellow housemates in the bedroom that Nicola was “a horrible girl” who is leading the house like the “mafia”.
Jamie O’Hara
During her scathing rant, Kim had been removed from the main house due to hurling insults at her co-stars which included labelling footballer Jamie O’Hara an “adulterer”.
This saw Jamie boil over after Kim also called him a “chicken-livered bugger.”
As the footballer follows Kim to challenge her, he shouted back: “Who the f**k are you talking to?
“You’re a disgrace, you are nasty, you are vile.”
Security were forced to break things up as she continued to tell the others that they weren’t a “bunch of chinless wonders”.
When Jamie tried to stop her rant, she spat: “You adulterer, that two-timed your wife and she’s got three kids. These people, they put me through hell.”
The pair failed to build bridges after their fallout and Kim later said that she felt bullied during her time in the house.
Coleen Nolan
Loose Women star Coleen was also part of the CBB lineup that year, however, what went on after the show went down as one of the messiest showdowns in daytime TV history.
When Kim appeared on Loose Women in 2018, the pair reignited their CBB clash and went at it in the view of ITV fans.
Loose Women received over 8,000 complaints due to the onscreen battle after Kim walked out of her interview in a dramatic exit that would rival ex-GMB star Piers Morgan.
The complaints came in as viewers believed Kim had been “bullied” on the show.
Kim thought she was going to clear the air with Coleen, however, that couldn’t have been further than what happened.
Before she left the set, Kim shouted: “She’s a con artist…I wouldn’t want to sit ad talk to lying trash like you!”
And as Coleen’s sister Linda could be heard saying, “You’re showing your true colours, Kim,” Kim yelled, “You’re a piece of trash.”
Phillip Schofield
Later in 2018, Kim also sat on the sofa with This Morning hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.
But this meeting also went sour after Phillip brought up her CBB stint – where she said she was treated differently because she came in late.
Phillip then bravely pointed out that Chloe Ferry and Jessica Cunningham were also latecomers and got on well with the group.
Which caused to Kim argue: “You see Phillip you were not in there. I know what I went through, I went through hell on this earth.”
The host then asked Kim whether she would have gotten on better with the CBB crew if she was “nicer”.
She then replied: “I think I am a nice person. I’d like you to have a word with all the crew I’ve ever worked with and these people in the studio. I’m very very polite.”
While Holly joked that she was terrified, Phil asked whether they had “bullied” Kim during the interview as a nod to what she had said about her TV housemates.
She said: “You are giving me the impression from the time I came on here. You don’t know what you’re talking about Phil.
“Go in that house for 24 hours and sit there and watch it for 45 minutes a night then you tell me why I was annoyed. The other 23 hours were very naughty.”
Phil then snapped: “I know why people reacted in the way that they reacted to you because of the way you make me feel sitting on that sofa. You’re already making me feel confrontational.”
Katie Price
In 2009, Kim starred on I’m A Celeb alongside reality TV queen Katie Price, who was on her second stint in the jungle.
ITV campmate Katie, who met her first husband Peter Andrew during her first IMAC series, said she was in the jungle for “some peace” and branded Kim a “publicity seeker” during a heated debate.
To which Kim clapped back: “You live and die for publicity and you do it well. As Shakespeare once said, “We fear you protesteth too much.”
She continued: “Look at her little face, ‘I’ve come in here because I want some peace’. You know full well you’ve got 10 to 12 million people watching every night and you know, madam, you’ll be all over the papers every day. Now stop it. Stop your nonsense.”
Aggie MacKenzie
Kim was also reportedly involved in another spectacular bust-up with her former How Clean Is Your House co-star, Aggie MacKenzie.
The once-close comedy duo no longer speak to one another after falling out.
Aggie has even said that Kim bullied her, however, Kim denies these claims and wishes her the best.
Kim told Mirror Online: “I have never said anything derogatory about Aggie and I am not going to start now. I am unclear where these false allegations have come from but I wish her all the luck in the world.”
