West Yorkshire Police have given an update regarding Gogglebox star Ellie Warner’s boyfriend following a car collision next month
Nat Eddleston was left injured and rushed to intensive care on March 18 after being hit by a car during a night out in Leeds.
He suffered a broken neck and back during the accident as well as two collapsed lungs.
Cops have confirmed that they have spoken to the driver of the vehicle as their investigation continues.
A spokesperson for the force told The Sun that “the driver was questioned” following the incident.
The update comes after the original statement last month which read: “The pedestrian remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
Ellie was recently spotted surrounding by friends as she headed to the local pub following Nat’s hospitalisation over a month ago.
The star stepped out wearing a brown T-shirt paired with a pair of blue denim ripped jeans and a khaki jacket to keep her warm in the summer evening breeze.
Ellie’s pink tresses were styled into loose natural waves as she enjoyed some time with her pals.
It was the first time Ellie has stepped out in public following Nat’s accident and revealed that she was taking an extended break from filming the Channel 4 programme.
Ellie and her sister Izzi Warner have appeared on the programme for the past six years but have been absent from the screen in recent weeks.
Despite being absent from filming, bosses are believed to be paying Ellie in full as they support her and have agreed to allow her to take an extended break from the show.

Speaking to The Sun, a source said: “Ellie has barely left Nat’s side since the accident, she has been holding his hand and willing him to get better.
“Her heart is totally ripped in two by all of this and she is still in a state of shock about how things have ended up.
“Right now all that Ellie is focusing on is making sure she is there for Nat, nothing else matters.”

Nat has appeared on Gogglebox on several occasions when filming restrictions during the coronavirus lockdown meant that Ellie couldn’t film with Izzi.
Fans of the much-loved show have sent their prayers to Ellie as she patiently waits for her boyfriend to recover.
She posted an image of her partner to Instagram on Valentine’s Day as they enjoyed a kebab, which followers have since swarmed with loving messages.
Gogglebox airs Fridays on Channel 4 at 9pm
