BBC One’s DIY SOS star Nick Knowles opens up after trolls “attacked” his girlfriend Katie Dadzie and says it’s “unfair”.
The 59-year-old star is dating young sweetheart and mother-of-two, Katie, who is 26 years younger than him,
However, it seems some were unhappy with his romance and voiced it as trolls accused her of being with him for the wrong reasons.
Nick hit out at social media trolls who had sent her cruel messages on social media after they were snapped having a lovely time during a night out in London.
The Who Dares Wins presenter hit straight back and said that his entrepreneurial girlfriend is “more successful” than he is as she runs three businesses and has two degrees.

He told The Sun: “She is wealthier & more successful than me and is intelligent and independent, unlike the abusive trolls attacking her. ‘What happened to #bekind?”
The TV personality opened up about the amount of abuse she’s received and shared that he finds it “unfair” when trolls go after people in his life.
He added: “What upset me was the judgment of her without knowing anything about her or what her motivations might be. I found that upsetting and unfair and felt I needed to say something about it.”

Katie, who is almost half of Nick’s age, own a couple of businesses two businesses including a company called Boa Boa, which sells lingerie and racy sex toys.
Speaking to Daily Star previously, he said: “Some of the nasty things that are said and the implication that because she is younger that she is only interested in me for the money or whatever.
“She has two kids, she owns property, has three businesses on the go, is wealthier than me. It is upsetting that they talk about people I am with.”

Nick, who split from his wife Jessica Rose Moor in 2016, made his first appearance with his latest girlfriend in September 2021.
He began dating ex-Jessica in 2009 before they tied the knot in 2012 and welcomed their son Eddie in 2014. They split in 2016.
Nick was also romantically involved with TOWIE star and stuntwoman Pascal Craymer, 34, back in 2017.
