Fans of the nineties can relive huge sounds of their youth, as some of the decade’s biggest pop groups including Aqua and Five are reunited for a special concert – all under one roof.
The 90’s Baby concert will see over 20 chart topping acts come together for one unmissable night of pure pop nostalgia at Manchester’s AO Arena on October 29, 2022.
Described as “a once in a lifetime opportunity to see all your favourite 90s pop artists together” and “guaranteed to transport you back to simpler times”, the concert will feature some of the decade’s biggest chart toppers, performed by the artists themselves.
Turn Back Time, Doctor Jones and Barbie Girl singers Aqua will join other hit record makers from the decade, including Eiffel 65 of Blue (Da Ba Dee) fame and dance act 2 Unlimited, whose 1991 house track Get Ready For This shot the group to fame across the globe.
Performing on the night will also be Heather Small of M People, whose hits including Search For The Hero and Moving On Up, landed the group numerous awards including Best British Dance Act at the 1994 BRIT Awards.
That’s not all, as original Atomic Kitten members Liz McClarnon and Natasha Hamilton will be performing some of the group’s biggest hits including Whole Again and The Tide Is High too.
They’re not the only girl group performing on the night though, as B*Witched will also be bringing the fun with their nostalgic favourites including C’est La Vie and Rollercoaster.
They’ll be joined by some of the biggest boybands of the decade too, including Keep On Moving singers Five, Wonderful Tonight hitmakers Damage and 911, with songs including A Little Bit More.
If you were at a school disco back in the nineties, there is no doubt that you know all the moves to Whigfield’s Saturday Night, Los Del Rio’s Macarena and Las Ketchup’s Ketchup Song – with all three acts set to get you up out of your seats and dancing on the night.
The concert will also take fans into the noughties too, with appearances by Lou Bega, Big Brovaz, Honeyz, Liberty X, The Cheeky Girls, Chico and Pop Idol’s Gareth Gates – plus many more.
Tickets for 90s baby at Manchester’s AO Arena on October 29, 2022 are on sale now.
