Mean Girls star Clare Preuss looks totally different to her character 18 years later

Mean Girls star Clare Preuss looks totally unrecognisable from her Mathletes character Caroline Krafft 18 years later.

The iconic teen comedy, which came out in 2004, saw leading lady Cady Heron, played by Hollywood star Lindsey Lohan, face the Marymount Prep Mathlete in a school quiz.

However, Clare’s character didn’t fit in with Cady and Regina George’s squad and was often seen on the outside of the school.

Maths whizz Caroline was described as someone who “seriously needed to pluck her eyebrows, her outfit looked like it was picked out by a blind Sunday school teacher, and she had some 99-cent lip gloss on her snaggletooth.”

Mean Girls’ Caroline Krafft was given thick overgrown eyebrows and moustache to wear

At the age of 16, the Canadian actor was given messy shoulder-length hair, thick overgrown eyebrows and even a small moustache, matched with a pair of thick glasses to wear.

The 44-year-old has shunned the limelight in recent years but doesn’t shy away from sharing photos of her travels on social media.

Taking to Instagram in August 2021, Clare, now 44, looks completely different, sporting a black bikini top and denim shorts whilst hugging a friend in Basel, Switzerland.

A similar was taken in Zürich with Clare’s red hair flying freely in the wind.

While Clare is happily roaming the world, fellow Mean Girls star Lindsey Lohan has recently announced a career comeback.

The Parent Trap star has recently signed a multi-film deal with Netflix.

Falling For Christmas will be the first film made as part of the deal and is due for release at the end of the year.

Lohan was also revealed as the narrator of a new dating show set in a US high school-themed environment, called Lovestruck High.

The show will follow 15 British single adults as they attempt to find love in a high school backdrop, filmed in the UK.

The 35-year-old will be the show’s voiceover artist, narrating the ups and downs of the group as they return to the classroom for a second chance at finding love in between lessons.

Lovestruck High will launch on May 18 on Prime Video.
