McFly’s Tom Fletcher has paid tribute to his wife Giovanna on their tenth wedding anniversary.
Tom, 36, married his long-time girlfriend Giovanna, 37, on May 12, 2012.
His wedding speech included several renditions of McFly’s biggest songs and Tom uploaded a video of it to YouTube in January 2013, with it having had a staggering 23million views since then.
Tom has now given his 2m Instagram followers a peek at how “G&T” celebrated their decade of married life.
Alongside a series of images from their anniversary day, including a photo of the couple toasting with champagne, one of a massive bouquet of flowers and some of Giovanna with a cooked breakfast, Tom wrote: “You know you’ve married your perfect partner when their 10th wedding anniversary gift to you is a painting of a Wookie at a disco.”
“Feeling beyond lucky today that of all the humans that ever existed on this planet, I got to marry this one 10 years ago today. Happy anniversary @mrsgifletcher.”
Tom also posed in front of his gift from Giovanna – a large purple canvas of Star Wars’ Chewbacca.
Author and CBeebies presenter Giovanna, who won I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2020, was quick to also pay tribute to her her husband, telling her 2m Instagram followers: “10 years married to his handsome chap.”
“We met at 13 in school assembly back in 1998, it was some meet-cute. I remember liking him instantly.
“He has this giggle, this laugh. This twinkle in his eye.
“Years of teen drama, of young love being dramatic and exhausting… and now here we are. Still exhausted… but very happy. Happy anniversary Thomas! Xx.”
JB Gill, of boy band JLS, replied with: “Yes Fletchers! Happy Anniversary!
“Keep setting that standard and flying the flag! May God grant you many more happy years filled with incredible memories together.”
Giovanna also shared a selection of sweet photos from their wedding day, captioning it: “Wedding photo dump. The. Best. Day. Can’t believe it’s been 10 years.”
Actress Jessica Plummer responded: “Happy anniversary!”
While Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two presenter Jeanette Manrara wrote: “Woo hoo! Happy anniversary.”
The Fletchers have three children – Buzz Michelangelo, Buddy Bob and Max Mario.
