Alison Hammond snapped at her This Morning co-host Dermot O’Leary when the pair high-fived in celebration on their final show before their summer break.
Branding him “aggressive” when the pair did a high-five to mark their final Friday show before heading off on their summer holidays, Alison seemed unimpressed by Dermot’s force.
Welcoming viewers to Friday’s show on July 22, Alison said: “Welcome to your Friday’s This Morning,” in a cheery and upbeat voice.

She then said: “It’s our last one,” hinting that this is their final show before the summer, as the pair high-fived.
Alison then added: “God, you’re very aggressive sometimes, [sic], could you be a bit softer?”
Dermot then said he was “excited” before they high-fived again – a little more softly.
“That’s better, much better,” Alison then said before Dermot segued into the next part of the show.
This comes after Alison, 47, announced the news on Thursday that she and Dermot, 49, would be stepping down from their hosting duties to make way for Ruth Langsford and Rylan Clark – who will returning to the show to co-host the ITV daytime show from next week.
Fans seem convinced that Alison and Dermot aren’t pals away from the show, and yesterday rumours circled again.
One viewer penned: “These two don’t like each other,” which came after it was claimed that they have hiding their real relationship from viewers.
It was reported recently by MailOnline that they struggled to “hit it off” and have been “bickering” behind the scenes.
But this was all recently cleared up when a This Morning spokesman lifted the lid on the duo’s relationship away from the show they both host together.
Speaking to The Mirror, the insider said: “Alison and Dermot have developed a firm friendship and their chemistry has proved a ratings success. Since the pandemic ended, the pair are able to enjoy socialising together post the show.”
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV and ITVHub
