Love Island fans were left raging over the amount of advert breaks during the 2022 final.
Host Laura Whitmore was back on our screens on Monday (August 1) night to reveal the winning couple of the eighth series.
Before the Irish beauty shared the exciting news, Fans of the ITV2 dating show were forced to sit through commercial breaks.

Angry fans rushed to their keyboard as they were forced to wait to find out the results of the finale.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “Sick of these adverts.”
Another added: “Mate why so many adverts i’ve eaten all my snacks already now cheers.”
A third person posted: “When there’s more adverts than actual programme. Too excessive.”
While a fourth social media user said: “ITV beginning to do my head in with the 2 advert breaks we’ve had in only 20 mins.”
The amount of advert breaks was not the only part of the final which got fans at home talking.
Laura announced at the start of the show that there will be no split or steal element to the prize money.
In previous years, the winners get to decide if they’d like to take the cash for themselves or share with their partner.
For the first time ever, the champions will keep the money as a pair and not be given the chance to split or steal.
The format shake-up left viewers at home divided.
One viewer tweeted: “There is no split or steal?? Might as well just go to bed.’
A second said: “Can’t believe they’ve taken the split or steal away! Thats all I’ve been waiting for.”
While a third person posted: “There’s no split or steal? What is even the point lol.”
