Strictly's Richie Anderson poses with 'manager' Katie Price as hidden past exposed

Strictly Come Dancing star Richie Anderson was once managed by Katie Price at a charity football match.

The star-studded game held in 2017 saw Katie’s side The Smiling Saddlers take on the Compton Wolves, captained by ex-Corrie star Shayne Ward, at Walsall FC’s Banks’s Stadium.

Calum Best, Jamie O’Hara, Simon Webbe and Dean Gaffney were all involved in the fundraising event to raise money for teenager Joel Richards, who died during the Tunisia attacks.

BBC Radio 2 presenter Richie, 34, was part of Katie’s team at the time and reminisced about working alongside the famous model in 2019 by sharing a throwback selfie on Instagram.

In the photograph, mum-of-five Katie can be seen showing off her famous pout while Richie attempts to copy the reality star.

He penned alongside the snap” “My iconic #tbt to the time I played football for a team managed by @officialkatieprice at @walsallfcofficial #football #katieprice #icons”

The post racked up hundreds of likes and fans rushed to leave a message for the star in the comment section.

It was announced earlier this month that Richie will be taking part in the 2022 series of the BBC dancing show.

Richie Anderson said: “This is a dream come true! I cannot wait to get in those sparkles and sequins and shimmy across the most famous dance floor in the world.

“Strictly is the ultimate feel good show, as soon as I hear that iconic theme tune it’s just pure escapism.

“I’m going to have to cancel my legendary Strictly launch night kitchen party that I throw every year, I’m sure my friends and family will understand.

“It’s also a massive honour to be part of an all-male dance partnership, it’s so important we have that inclusion on such a huge show.”
