Love Island's Antigoni breaks silence on Ekin-Su feud claims as she talks 'moving on'

Love Island bombshell Antigoni Buxton has shut down rumours of a fiery feud between her and the show’s winner, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu.

Rumours emerged after Antigoni was dumped from the show, which claimed the pair didn’t see eye to eye. Viewers also claimed Antigoni was jealous of Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su’s developing relationship after she left.

However, after appearing on a podcast with Chuckie Online, Antigoni firmly shut down the rumours and confirmed there was no bad blood between the two.

“There’s this narrative online that I don’t like Ekin-Su. There’s all this like, ‘You’ve been shading her’, but I’ve not ever once said in any interview that I ever had a problem with Ekin-Su,” Antigoni revealed.

Antigoni claims her and Ekin-Su have ‘moved on’ from rumours of feud

She explained that any issues between the two over ‘shady comments’ were smoothed out and moved on from.

Antigoni continued: “All I said was there was one moment I found that we had a little bit of a thing and we spoke about it, it was fine and we moved on.”

At the recoupling the boys chose to send Antigoni home

“When I went to the Reunion, the first thing I did when I saw Davide and Ekin-Su come in was I knocked on their dressing room door and said congratulations. I said, ‘By the way there’s some stuff online and I hope you know that’s not how I feel at all’,” she added.

According to Antigoni, Ekin-Su was unbothered by the situation and the circulating rumours.

Antigoni said: “Ekin was like, ‘I don’t care about what is online’, and that was that.”

Antigoni and Davide were coupled up for a short time before she left

Despite the debunked rumours, viewers recall a slight blip in the pair’s friendship during their time in the villa.

During a recoupling, Ekin-Su decided to recouple with Davide, despite cracking on with Jay Younger and failing to let Antigoni know of her decision.

Antigoni revealed she felt misled, saying on the podcast: “She literally made it seem like she was going to choose Charlie. The thing that bothered me was the misleading.

“She should pick whoever she wants. It was frustrating because even if you just pulled me to the side at lunch. Not because I own everybody but it left us blind-sided,” she said.

Not long after that recoupling, Antigoni’s Love Island experience came to an end and she was dumped from the villa with Charlie Radnedge.

Ekin-Su and Davide went on to win the series after becoming fan favourites and are set to have a show touring Turkey and Italy together.
