Coronation Street’s Samia Longchambon, who plays Maria Connor in the ITV soap, has paraded her toned figure in a skimpy bikini while her body appeared to be cut in half.
Looking glamorous while enjoying some downtime abroad earlier on in the year, Samia posed in a lavish outdoor pool while donning a bikini and straw hat.
Grinning for the camera, the 40-year-old soap star was totally unaware that due to refraction – her body appeared to be chopped in half.

Alongside the mind-boggling snap, Samia penned: “I should’ve paid more attention in GCSE physics, had to google it… #refraction.”
Refraction is the bending of light as it passes from one transparent substance into another.
Fans were quick to comment on the unusual snap, with many completely confused by the optical illusion.
One person said: “That just totally messed with my head when I first saw it!”
Another added: “Thought you’d been part of a magician’s trick that had gone wrong!”
“Hard pressed to pick a half,” joked a third.
While a fourth jibed: “You don’t half look gorgeous… (sorry couldn’t resist!).”
And a fifth added: “You look amazing even though you look like you’ve been chopped in half.”
Samia has been married to French professional ice skater Sylvain Longchambon for six years, with the pair celebrating their wedding anniversary at the end of July.
The pair met when the actress was paired up with the professional skater on ITV’s hit skating show, Dancing On Ice, back in January 2013.
The stunning actress has portrayed the role of Maria on ITV soap opera Coronation Street since 2000 – meaning she’s starred on the programme for a whopping 22 years, since she was just 18.
