Cheryl Tweedy was joined by her ex-boyfriend as Girls Aloud got together to honour their late bandmate Sarah Harding on Saturday night (October 8) at a charity gala for the singer.
As the group made their first public appearance as a fourpiece at Sarah’s Primose Ball, a string of famous faces walked the red carpet to show support for the late star as well as The Christie Cancer Fund.
Sarah died aged 39 from breast cancer on September 5, 2021.

Joining the Sound Of The Underground hitmakers were the likes of Olly Alexander and Fearne Cotton – and Cheryl’s ex-boyfriend, Liam Payne.
The Bedroom Floor singer looked dapper as he arrived at The Londoner hotel for the ball wearing a black tie suit while rocking a white shirt.
Liam and Cheryl started dating in 2016 before going on to welcome their son, Bear Payne in 2017 before they split in July 2018.
However, they still appear to have a close relationship as they co-parent their youngster and Liam has had nothing but praise for Cheryl in recent years.
Cheryl, 39, Nadine Coyle, 37, Nicola Roberts, 37, and Kimberley Walsh, 40, all joined forces to honour Sarah’s life and legacy as they hoped to raise thousands towards cancer research.
The group that dominated the charts for ten years had promised Sarah before her death that they would hold a special event in her memory.
During Sarah’s cancer battle, she had been treated by The Christie in her hometown of Manchester and donated the profits from her last single, Wear It Like A Crown to the charity.
While they had vowed to host the star-studded event, the group ruled out performing as a quartet admitting it “doesn’t feel right” to be on stage without Sarah.
Speaking to The Sun, Kimberley said: “It doesn’t feel right without her.
“We miss her so much, it’s just so hard to get your head around it, to realise that she’s gone. Before Sarah died, we chatted to her and she told us she wanted us to raise as much money as we could for charity.”
However, Olly Alexander and Sarah’s St Trinian’s co-star Ricky Wilson took to the stage at the event in Central London.
Before Sarah’s devastating death, she had asked her bandmates to hold an event and hoped she would’ve been able to attend to thank those who had helped her.
The Sarah’s Primose Ball was to fund a study led by Sarah’s oncologist looking into why women are suffering from breast cancer at such a young age.
