Disgruntled Channel 4 viewers were angered by the latest schedule shakeup after Gogglebox was replaced by a reboot of Friday Night Live.
Fans who tuned in to watch their regular dose of the popular reality show, were disappointed when they discovered that it had been moved to Saturday October, 22.
Instead viewers were treated to comedian Ben Elton and his comedy show which originally ran from 1985 to 1988 on Channel 4.

But due to the fact that many were unaware of the schedule change, viewers headed straight to Twitter to share their annoyance.
One angry Channel 4 spectator penned: “They’ve moved #Gogglebox for this shower of s**t.”
Another annoyed viewer wrote: “Not happy about #Gogglebox being moved to Saturday night this week. Why couldn’t they move Ben Elton’s show to later on in the evening? (like at a time I’ll be in bed).”
A third said: “So annoying we have to wait an extra day for #Gogglebox rather watch that over whatever this nonsense is.”
Meanwhile a fourth added: “Have Channel 4 really ditched #Gogglebox for this #FridayNightLive c**p.”

However some were happy to see the reboot and chimed: “#Fridaynightlive Bring it back permanently. After #Gogglebox of course.”
Although some were caught off guard, Channel 4 did announce last week that there would be a change in schedule to celebrate the broadcaster’s 40th birthday.
Following on from Friday Night Live, Channel 4 scheduled Friday Night Dinner: 10 years and a Lovely Bit of Squirrel.
Friday Night Live began in 1985 and was originally called Saturday Night Live.
Some of the most renowned comedians had their earliest appearances on the show and have gone on to become household names. They’ve also remained good friends with Ben.

Talking to Radio Times, Ben said: “I have a set of friends who all became very famous, but none were famous when we became friends,” E
“I met Stephen [Fry], Hugh [Laurie] and Emma [Thompson] on the same day in December 1981 when Granada was assembling a group of unknown talents to do a show.
“The show failed, but the friendships have lasted ever since. I’m having lunch with Hugh and Emma next weekend and I’m seeing Ade [Adrian Edmondson] tomorrow night.”
