I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’s Matt Hancock chose a letter from his girlfriend over a note from his kids, say ex-star.
Nicola McLean starred on the show in 2008 and revealed that celebrities choose who they get their letter from.
She exclusively told us: “No you get asked who you want to get it from, you get asked, my husband Tom did mine obviously and I’m telling you something now if I was his ex-wife – are they even divorced? I would parachute in there and stab him in the eyes.

No, I absolutely couldn’t cope with that it’s so wrong morally. What do his poor wife and kids think when he’s receiving love letters in the jungle from someone he had an affair with? No, stop that, Matt.”
“But yeah you get to choose.”
She continued: “Listen unless you play devil’s advocate you might say you don’t want your kids to be exposed to say that situation and hopefully his ex-wife was like ‘my kids aren’t writing him a letter’.
“But before you go you have to leave your contact details to ITV so it was his choice to have his mistress do it.

Matt shares three children with his ex-partner Martha two sons and one daughter, with the youngest being born in 2013.
However, the couple split after news of the affair with Gina broke during lockdown.
