Prince Harry and Meghan drop more Netflix footage as they share unusual first dance song

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have dropped more Netflix footage with clips from their first dance.

In the new footage released, the couple can be seen on the dance floor on their wedding night, which was to the iconic 1960s track Land of a Thousand Dances.

Speaking about their wedding night, Meghan revealed some unknown information when she said: “I just really wanted the music to be fun. Even our first dance.”

Turning to Harry, she asked: “Song of 1,000 Dances? A thousand dances? I always get it wrong.”

Speaking about the dance, Meghan explained how she was “spinning like a whirlwind” before adding: “It was so great.”

Unseen photographs from their first dance were then displayed on screen as the upbeat track played in the background.

Singing along to the special song, Meghan seemed completely transported back to the joyous occasion as she grinned and reminisced.

The song by Wilson Pickett has the well-known lyrics: “Got to know how to pony / Like Bony Maronie / Mashed potato / Do the alligator / Put your hand on your hips, yeah.”

Netflix dropped the new mini trailer for the next three episodes at 3pm (GMT) on December 10, via Twitter.

Alongside the video, the account penned: “Harry & Meghan reminisce about their whirlwind first dance as husband and wife.”

Underneath the tweet, fans of the Netflix series were quick to comment with anticipation and excitement.

One person said: “Can’t wait to see them party.”

“Beautiful at all levels you can see and feel the love just watching them,” gushed another.

“Looks like they had a blast. Can’t wait to see more footage,” added a third.

While a fourth penned: “Wow, Wow, how wonderful to see their dance of love. Prince Harry is quite the dancer, together they are superstars!”

But a fifth critiqued: “For a couple constantly begging for their privacy, they’re very attention thirsty!”
