Emmerdale fans believe they ‘already know’ what Arthur Thomas’ big secret is after he broke down in emotional scenes.
The youngster has been rather quiet of late after his pal April Windsor confessed to having a crush on him, with Noah leaving Arthur uncomfortable as he asked if he is friends “with or without benefits” with April.
In an emotional scene, Arthur broke down by his dad Ashley’s grave – but was quickly cut off before the reason for his tears could be revealed.

Noah even went as far as to tell Marcus: “I reckon Arthur’s got a secret he doesn’t want to share with us.”
Now fans think they’ve cracked the case, and Arthur could be struggling to come to terms with his sexuality.
Fans think he could be gay, with Marcus – who is currently dating vicar’s son Ethan – helping him through the crisis stage and being there to support him.
Taking to social media to air their theories, one fan penned: “#Emmerdale does Marcus sense Arthur’s dilemma?” as another agreed: “Yeah, Marcus seems to guess it. Could see Arthur coming out to him.”
Another fan penned: “Marcus trying to suss out if Arthur is gay?”
As someone else predicted: “Am I the only one who thinks Arthur is gay?”
“I was wondering if Arthur might be gay when April was trying to let him know she liked him,” a fifth social media user said.
As someone else said: “Arthur is definitely gay and is struggling to come to terms with it. Such an important storyline if this is where it’s going!”
The soap has dealt with various issues of sexuality and gender in the past, including Aaron Dingle’s own struggle to come to terms with being gay before eventually marrying Robert Sugden in a sweet ceremony.
Earlier this year, Rhona’s mum Mary also came out as a lesbian after battling with historic prejudice; while trans man Matty had to contend with his mum’s own struggles when he returned to the village.

It comes after soap bosses confirmed various exciting storylines for the younger cast, who are preparing to “grow up” in Soapland.
Producer Jane Hudson told Daily Star: “A lot of our younger cast have got stories coming up. You get to a point with the young cast when you suddenly realise they’re growing up.
“They’ve been off-screen for a few weeks and they appear and they’re a foot taller and their voice is deeper and you’re like, ‘Oh my gosh, we need to start growing them up in the show’.
“For Rosie [Bentham], who plays Gabby, we kept her at 15 for about three years. She eventually went, ‘You do know my character is 18?’ And I thought, oh my gosh yeah we need to grow you up.”
