BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty issued a warning to a reporter on Saturday morning (December 17) as he admitted he was “trying not to get run over”.
Naga headed up the Saturday morning episode of BBC Breakfast alongside Roger Johnson, where the pair spoke about the cost of living crisis among other topics.
While discussing the run up to Christmas and the footfall on high-streets up and down the country, Naga spoke to a reporter via video link about the tough time businesses are having due to rising costs.

Ben Boulos was the reporter at a market on a high-street in St Albans, where he spoke to local market stall traders about the cost of living crisis.
After speaking to the locals, Ben stepped to the side and was chatting to Naga again via the video link.
While speaking to Naga and Roger, a white van creeped up behind him where he attempted to dodge it in a speedy manner.
As the van sped round the corner, Ben said: “I’ll try not to get run over,” while jumping out of the way and appearing to look a little flustered.
Ever the professional, Ben continued with his report and then segued back to Naga and Roger in the studio.
When Naga was back at the helm, Naga thanked Ben for his report before adding: “Do keep an eye out for traffic please,” sounding rather concerned.
Laughing at what she had said, Ben then thanked his colleague and said: “Good tip, thanks Naga.”

With temperatures having been as low as -12 degrees in the East, it’s set to warm up next week with temperatures rising to 14 degrees in some areas.
They also discussed the possibility of pipes bursting when temperatures rise, following the sub zero cold snap.
