Gladiators star, Wolf, also known as Michael Van Wijk looked completely different as he appeared on Good Morning Britain.
Speaking to presenters Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway about the Gladiators reboot alongside his son, Wolf Cub, Wolf seemed to have underwent a transformation since starring on the game show.
When the show aired from 1992 – 2000, Wolf has long brown hair with a subtle curl and always held a stern facial expression, made easier by her sharp eyebrows.

His muscles always looked as though they’d pop at any moment as he wore his statement blue string vest.
Now over 22 years later, Wolf, now 70, had shed his long locks and went for a covered up look, opting for a black Nike T-shirt. Hi son payed homage to his dad’s former image by wearing the iconic blue vest during the interview.
Wolf told Ben and Kate that he was looking forward to the reboot and had even eyed-up a presenting role for the show.
“I’d like to try what you guys do, presenting the show i think it’s nice to have someone with experience,” he said before adding: “I’ve never missed a show for eight series.”
Kate then asked about his reputation on the show as a bad boy and Wolf confirmed that was all of his own doing.
He said: “They wanted everyone to be squeaky clean – I asked the producers for one show if I could be bad and they said, ‘No,’ and I said ‘Let’s just try for one show see if you like it,’ and it just blew up.”
Having worked closely on the reboot, Wolf admitted that it would be better than Sky’s attempt a few years back. He revealed that the “10,000 person live audience” enhances the atmosphere.
“With respect to sky they tried to do it on a small budget, in a small studio,” he explained. “This one is in 10,00 person live audience so the atmosphere comes across really well.”
