Love Island’s Will admits Claudia Winkleman drenched him in water during farm visit

Love Island contestant Will Young revealed Claudia Winkleman once drenched him in water.

Will, 23, is set to enter the infamous villa when the winter series kicks off on January 16, but many fans will already recognise him from his incredibly popular TikTok page.

Will, who goes by Farmer Will on the social media platform, has amassed 1.1million followers with his content that covers all kinds of things on his farm.

And it seems the Strictly Come Dancing presenter has already made her way onto his farm as she filmed there in November for her most recent Head & Shoulders campaign.

When asked what his claim to fame was, Will responded: “Claudia Winkleman came to my farm. She was lovelyand got stuck in. She poured water over me.”

In one of the shots posted on Instagram, a shirtless Will could be seen heading towards the 50-year-old as she sported a knitted jumper and wellies.

With Will then sat on a bench, Claudia poured a bucket of water over his head before shaking his hand and congratulating him for becoming a part of the Head & Shoulders team.

Will revealed growing up on a farm has made it difficult for him to balance relationships and work, meaning Love Island will give him the time he needs to find the right woman.

He said: “Having grown up on a farm, it’s been quite difficult juggling relationships and work. Love Island will give me time away from the farm to solely go out and find love. I think I’m at the time of my life where I’m mature enough to go and find a wife.”

Revealing why he is still single, Will put it down to “self sabotage”.

He explained: “Honestly? Probably commitment issues. I self sabotage myself sometimes when I’ve got a good thing going. I do like my own space and my own time; I haven’t got to stress about anything and just worry about myself.”

Love Island returns on January 16 at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
