But it seems Mack’s time may be up as Emmerdale revealed that Charity will discover what her other half has been up to and will no doubt leaving Charity devastated and angry.
Chatting to the presenter, the soap star admitted: “It will come to a point where it all explodes. It always does.”
Not revealing too much about the storyline, the 31-year-old went on to gush about what it’s like working on Emmerdale.
He said: “Everyone says how family orientated it is, and I know it’s a cliché but it’s a cracking place to work.”
Next week on the soap, Mack remains haunted by the secret guilt he’s carrying because of the baby.
Finding it hard to cope with his ordeal, he reveals to Chloe that he’s going to tell Charity about their baby.
They continue to bicker over the situation, unaware that Sarah is listening from upstairs.
Chloe realises Mackenzie is not backing down and he’s going to tell Charity the truth today.
While Sarah continues to listen upstairs, Mackenzie encourages her to leave but Chloe tells him again that she has nowhere to go.
As the pair battle it out, Chloe’s determined to stand her ground and stay; she doesn’t want to be thrown to the wolves by Mackenzie.
Then, just as Mackenzie and Chloe are about to reveal their secret to Charity, Sarah comes stumbling down the stairs, struggling to breathe properly.
