Love Islander shares surprising topic stars are banned from talking about on ITV2 show

Love Island’s Abigail Rawlings has revealed what Islanders are banned from talking about in the villa.

The series seven star opened up exclusively to the Daily Star during an Instagram Live chat.

Abigail told us: “You’re not allowed to talk about the process – how you got on, or if you got scouted. If you do, they say over the ‘Voice of God’ thing ‘Do not talk about the process’.

“They always say that, they just don’t like it, they won’t post that or show it on TV so they don’t want you to waste time talking about anything you can’t show I guess.”

Other strict rules ITV bosses put in place affected Abi’s wardrobe.

She explained: “All of my sunglasses got taken off me during my time there, as we weren’t allowed to wear brands.

“They took all of mine away and I had to use Faye’s the whole time.

“I also paid £60 for fake tan and they took it away from me and I was like ‘Where is my fake tan?’ and they said ‘We aren’t allowed to let you have it this year as it ruins the sheets’.

“I was like ‘Oh my god, I’m going to be the palest I’ve ever been and I’m on national tele.’

“I told them I would pay for their sheets and they were like ‘No, you’re not allowed it.’

“I’m definitely not going to ruin it any other way, let me ruin it this way.”

She also revealed that she suffered a major wardrobe malfunction while on the show.

Tattooist Abi, 28, explained how she was saved further embarrassment by producers who told her over the speaker.

Talking about how producers try to prevent any naked scenes by telling Islanders to never be fully nude, Abigail said: “I remember I was sat doing my makeup once and I had my towel and it just fell down a little bit.

“It’s all girls so it doesn’t really matter, but over the speaker they were like ‘Abi, can you put your towel on properly please?’ And I was like ‘Oops, sorry’.”

The Islander starred on the show back in 2021 and entered as a bombshell mid-way.

Love Island airs nightly on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm
