Doctor lover

During her first-ever appearance on Loose Women in 2020, Susan opened up very quickly to the ITV panel.

She told the ITV ladies how she had a secret one-time lover who was a doctor.

When telling the panel about her last date, which was around six years ago at the time, she said she went “missing” with a doctor.

The panel asked if Susan ever dated and she replied: “You mean go with fellas? No, youngsters may be able to do it, but I haven’t got the time. It is still nice to be asked though.

“I had a date in America six years ago, which lasted exactly 45 minutes.

“I went for a massage in the spa of a hotel and met a doctor and then we went out for lunch. I didn’t tell anyone and my team thought I’d been kidnapped.

“They were really panicking because I had a show that night. The guy was nice, but he wasn’t for me. I couldn’t be dealing with keeping up with the correspondence.”

Susan also opened up about the American doctor, who she felt a connection with, to Lady Magazine.

Though sparks flew between the pair initially it failed to develop into anything long-term.

She told the publication: “I did have a gentleman friend, a doctor. We went for lunch but I didn’t tell anyone.

“But if I had a man friend it would be purely platonic – I’ve been on my own too long now to get married.”

‘Rubbed her up’

During her Loose Women appearance, she also revealed that the doctor “rubbed her up the right way” as part of a graphic sex life confession.

Susan told them: “I came back with a smile on my face. Let’s just say he rubbed me up the right way.”

Though she remained tight-lipped about her current love life and didn’t expose any intel on the topic, telling the panel she was “not saying” anything on the matter.

ITV viewers commented on Susan’s Loose Women chat, with many taking to Twitter to share their thoughts.

A second added: “Cringe fest #LooseWomen.”

While a third penned: “I always feel a bit uncomfortable when Susan Boyle is interviewed. She seems so vulnerable #LooseWomen.”

“Loose Women panel look uncomfortable today, they’re not used to being in the company of a woman who has been successful in her field #LooseWomen,” a fourth posted.

A fifth put: “I like Susan Boyle but this interview is awkward #loosewomen.”

Piers Morgan crush

Susan once admitted that her “wee crush” on ex-BGT judge Piers Morgan was what encouraged her to try out for the show.

The superstar told My Weekly magazine: “In 2009, I made the decision to appear on Britain’s Got Talent in honour of my mother, who had died.

“She always asked me to make something of myself and use my singing voice.

“I saw there were auditions in Glasgow and decided to give it a go – and also because I had a wee crush on a man called Piers Morgan, who was a judge on the show.”

However, at a later point, she was pulled up on her feelings for Piers and said: “A crush!? I’ve got a smash! I call him Piersy baby.”

Though in 2021, when chatting with fellow judge Amanda Holden on Heart Radio, Susan said she no longer fancied Piers.

Amanda asked her: “You don’t fancy Piers anymore I gather?”

To which she quipped back: “I respect him but I don’t fancy him. I’ve grown up a bit now!”
