Piers Morgan warns 'opinions are flying' as he joins A-listers for birthday bash

Piers Morgan is living it up in Los Angeles for his 58th birthday celebrations as he dines with a slew of celebs.

The TV presenter has been taking a well-deserved break from his show, Piers Uncensored, and recently shared a selfie with Gary Lineker, Amanda Holden, and Bruno Tonioli on Instagram.

The foursome hit the town in LA and enjoyed an evening out at the iconic Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood.

Piers posted the snap to Instagram, writing: “Midnight in Hollywood… and opinions are flying.”

Peeking through in the top right corner of the snap is a grinning Gary Lineker.

The night out comes after Piers defended Lineker on Twitter last month after he was removed from Match of The Day.

Piers tweeted, “Gary Lineker should tell the BBC to go f*** themselves, as I told ITV to over the Markle debacle. Free speech is the cornerstone of democracy – the moment Britons agree to be told what we’re allowed to say or think, democracy dies.”

Thankfully, Lineker was later reinstated, and he and Piers have continued their friendship.

Piers is enjoying his time off, soaking up the sun in LA with his celebrity friends.

Speaking on his show, Piers Uncensored, he said, “I’m taking two extremely well-deserved weeks off. I’m going to go to Hollywood and lie under palm trees.”

Piers had to cancel his holiday earlier in the week for an interview with Stormy Daniels, which was then cancelled itself over a “security issue.”

Nonetheless, he was able to make it to LA as planned and praised British Airways for their service on Twitter.

Piers recently reunited with Susanna Reid for breakfast as the former Good Morning Britain co-hosts shared a sweet snap on Twitter last week.

Piers, who hosted the chat show alongside Susanna until his departure in 2021, wrote in the caption that it had been “a while” since they last had breakfast together.

“Good morning (again) Britain! Been a while since we last had breakfast together… lovely to see you⁦ @susannareid100,” he wrote alongside the post.

Since Piers’ departure, Susanna has continued to helm the show alongside a rotation of male hosts.

Fans were thrilled to see the former colleagues back together, with one commenting” “I loved watching you both on GMB, best presenter duo.” Another wrote: “Great to see you both back together again. Miss you both on GMB.”
