Good Morning Britain fans were fuming after a ex-member of Donald Trump’s campaign team appeared in the studio and defended the former President.
Trump, 76, has been charged with business fraud after reportedly paying ex-porn star Stormy Daniels a “hush money” payment of £105K.
The 45th US President allegedly had an affair with the sex worker at a golf tournament in 2006 when she was 27 and he was 60.

GMB presenters Adil Ray and Charlotte Hawkins were joined by Jan Halper-Hayes who claimed the case against the former President is “absolutely ridiculous”.
She said: “I find that some of what she’s saying seems sincere, but her answers are almost verbatim and so one has to wonder, what has been rehearsed?
“The other thing is the statues of limitations has expired, eight years ago. It’s absolutely ridiculous.”
After claiming Trump won’t get a fair trial, the Republican supporter told the presenters she believes the trial will be dismissed.
GMB fans weren’t happy with what they were seeing and headed straight to social media to slam the interview.
“Wow, this Trumpkin is beyond delusional #GMB,” claimed one viewer.
A second fumed: “Who is this clueless blinkered old person on #gmb ? Does she think we’re red neck fools who believe her pro Trump Republican bulls**t?”
“Why have #gmb got this Trump weirdo on, this morning. Shocking stuff,” exclaimed another fan.
A fourth viewer echoed: “#GMB why are you wasting airtime with a Donald Trump cultist? You won’t get any objective or sensible comments from a Trumpanzee.”
Trump is also accused of making payments to ex-Playboy model Karen McDougal.
On Tuesday (April 4), Trump pleaded not guilty to “34 counts of falsifying business records and conspiracy for his alleged role in hush money payments to two women toward the end of his 2016 presidential campaign.”
Trump has previously condemned the court case against him as “a political witch hunt”.
