Vengaboys star was ‘sexually assaulted’ by ‘horny’ dolphin while filming music video

Vengaboys star Robin Pors had a very bizarre encounter with a dolphin while shooting a music video.

The Sailor star was quizzed exclusively by the Daily Star after his bandmates previously shared a snippet of the story.

Kim Sasabone, Denise Post-Van Rijswijk once said: “There are some inappropriate things that have happened.

“Robin, while shooting a music video on a tropical island in the Caribbean was sexually assaulted by dolphins. Very horny dolphins.”

When asked about the tale himself, as he promoted Teddy Rocks festival, Robin said: “The dolphin, yes that’s my story, yes I had an encounter with a dolphin.

“It was a video for Hot Hot Hot in 2013.

“I had to float into the water and I arrived on the tropical island and then my phone rings and I’m waking up and be like ‘Where am I?’

“And I had to be in the water to do the scene, but one was like harassing me and I had to get out of the water and I was not amused, I didn’t know what was going on.

“That’s a common thing, it happened before apparently, and people have said they do that sometimes.

“I can tell you if you’re in the ocean with the dolphins and think ‘That’s cute’ and then you feel how strong they are and they’re pushing you and doing strange things, it’s weird, but I’ll have to take it as a compliment.”

The Eurodance group are known for hits such as Boom Boom Boom, We Like To Party and We’re Going To Ibiza.

The current lineup of Vengaboys includes Robin, Kim Sasabone, Denise Post-Van Rijswijk, and Donny Latupeirissa.

Vengaboys will be performing at the 10th edition of Teddy Rocks which is a non-profit, award-winning UK family festival.

The celebration is on a mission to fight Children’s Cancer with rock and was set up by Tom Newton in Memory of his 10-year-old brother Ted who sadly lost his fight in 2010 to a rare bone cancer.

The event raises money for children’s cancer charities and will feature other acts such as Feeder, Jake Bugg, The Amazons, East 17, and Goldie Lookin Chain.

The festival will take place at Charisworth Farm in Dorset on Friday 28th – Sunday 30th April.
