Love Island fans think they’ve figured out Leah Taylor after news emerged of her ex boyfriend.
Many have said they believe Leah had “walls up” with some of the lads in the villa, but now fans have dissected that it’s actually because she’s not willing to settle for less.

It emerged in The Sun that Leah’s ex boyfriend was killed in a crash eight years ago after finding an old post where Leah had paid tribute to her ex, Elliott Xavier Campion, who died in 2015.
Leah stated that she and Elliott had planned their lives out from their house, cars and kids names and said he was the “best thing” that ever happened to her.

She said in the tribute: “You’re my soul mate and I love you to the moon and back, I can’t wait to see you again because I know I’m destined to be with you, I love you more than words can explain.”
A source also told the publication that his untimely death “rocked her world” and he will always be number one for her.
Fans have since shared their heartbreak for her and said they believe Leah is being more reserved in the villa because of her previous loving relationship.

One person said on Reddit: “This explains so much about her wanting a decision sooner when she’s talking to a guy. She has been in such a loving relationship so she knows the gold standard and won’t settle for less!
“I hope she leaves the show with fond memories that erase the way she was treated in the beginning a bit by minimising her to a “test” or for just her body. I am rooting for her!”

Another added: “This honestly explains so much about why guys are hitting a wall with her and she’s not fully opening up early on.”
While a third simply wrote: “She deserves the best”.
Leah has now coupled up with bombshell Montel and things seem to be going smoothly for the pair – but only time will tell how their relationship will fare.
