Teen Mom star’s surgery nightmare as bullet ‘burst’ boob job in horror shooting

Teen Mom star Cheyenne Floyd was involved in a terrifying incident in 2021 in which her car was shot at 13 times while she was driving her kids and her husband.

Last year the reality star relived the terrifying ordeal on Teen Mom: The Reunion and revealed that although luckily no one was hurt she had to have a second boob job as her first was ruined in the accident.

Fans were left shocked by the incident and many sent their prayers to the star and her family.

Cheyanne has been involved in Teen Mom for many years and is a firm fan favorite since she rose to fame on MTV’s reality dating show Are You The One.

She has two children and she shares Ryder with her ex-boyfriend Cory Wharton, 31, and one year old Ace with her husband Zach Davis, 32.

Here at Daily Star we have decided to take a look at the terrifying incident that “chaged her families lives forever.”

What happened?

Cheyenne and Zach previously talked about the shooting during the premiere of The Next Chapter.

Zach told the camera: “We woke up. Ryder had an appointment at the doctor. Ace had his first checkup. We were just riding with music playing like normal car day and Chey looks at me, and she goes, ‘what is that?’ and there was a green beam on my face.

Cheyenne then added: “When I saw the green beam on Zach’s face, I looked past it. I was just in complete and utter shock.”

Zach then recalled: “I looked at who was holding the gun and it was somebody we both knew. Not only is it just we know him, he’s been here at Chey’s house. There’s pictures with him and all the sudden we just start hearing shots.”

“He hit the car 13 times and we crashed into the back of a Prius. Pried my door open and it was the worst feeling in the world.”

Cheyanne said: “It is a miracle that we are still here and God literally covered us that day because every cop who was there said that they do not understand how we’re all alive.”

The reality star added: “And hearing it over and over and over again I just wanted them all to stop saying it because I had to pinch myself to make sure that I understood that I was alive.”

Cheyenne’s surgery

A year after the horrifying incident Cheyenne had to have surgery to fix her breast implants.

In July 2022, she tweeted: “These past few weeks have been so draining and difficult. I’m ready for some good news.”

Cheyenne had a painful muscle collapse in her breast after the shooting, however, causing her lots of pain.

In September on an episode of Teen Mom she revealed while crying: “So this boob is like dented at the bottom where there was a really big bruise. At first, I was like ok, it’s just a physical thing I’m not stuck on it because who cares? I’m alive. My boob is dented.

“But this one the muscle collapsed so it pushed my implant up here so my implant sits on top of my chest and it’s hard as a rock and it hurts so bad when I lay on my back. It, like, sticks out,”

She revealed on a YouTube video the doctor had to “pull fat from other areas to put into my boobs to fix them,” adding her waist was “a lot smaller now.” However, Cheyenne quashed any rumors by stating she didn’t “get butt implants.”

After the incident

The pair spoke tp Dr. Drew and Nessa Diab about the “anxiety” they suffered after the incident on an episode of the show and Dr. Drew asked: “How’s your anxiety since the shooting?”

Cheyenne replied: “Terrible. It’s so bad.” Zach added: “It’s subsided though.”

The MTV star continued: “I feel like it’s gotten a lot better, I can leave my house now, I can drive now, and that took a long time. It’s a lot, I mean we went almost a year without talking about it.”

Dr. Drew replied: “What, why?

She added: “I mean we didn’t talk about it on the show, we just didn’t feel… we talked amongst ourselves, but I mean publicly we didn’t talk about it for a year, so that always adds an extra layer of things.”

“And that added more anxiety and more questions that we can’t answer because it’s an open case.

“We found out recently that we’re gonna start a trial soon so now we really can’t talk about it.”

The Teen Mom alum also opened up about how the shooting had affected her two children, Ryder and Ace.

“Ace was only two months so he has no idea what happened to him, but for Ryder, I mean Ryder never knew what a gun was before this.

“Or she never had anxiety in a car or if she saw an accident, she would never talk about it, now she is just more aware of certain things.”
