Tipping Point fans say it’s a ‘shame’ as final result leaves ITV viewers divided

The latest instalment of Tipping Point didn’t disappoint ITV viewers at home.

Gunning for the cash on Friday’s (June 30) edition was Keesha, a Linguistics Student from Leeds, whose happy-go-lucky attitude resonated with the fans.

With palpable enthusiasm and an endearing laugh, the contestant won the love of the people and the respect of the show’s popular presenter Ben Shephard.

In the opening round, the youngster rocketed up the leader board, utilising section 2 to her advantage, picking up a respectable £800.

Keesha lit up Tipping Point

Keesha chuckled as she left her competitors in the dust, taking a moment to try and work out what had hit them.

Joining her in the next round were Steve and Nic, who just about scraped through on a sudden death question after accumulating no money whatsoever.

As the game rolled on, despite her poor start, Nic warmed to the task, climbing her way to the top of the tree and sending Steve home with his tail between his legs.

Nic was a formidable competitor

At this point, Keesha and Nic went toe-to-toe in a brutal one-on-one, but sadly for the young gun, the chips failed to fall in her favour.

However, rather than bursting into tears, she remained happy and positive, with a big smile beaming from ear to ear.

She waved goodbye, telling Ben: “Thank you for having me; I’ve had a wonderful time.”

Unsurprisingly, her new fans stormed to Twitter to express their displeasure.

One said: “Nic beats Keesha. Shame. I liked Keesha.”

While another added: “Shame for Keesha; she seems nice.”

Nic was simply too good for everyone else to handle

However, a rather obnoxious viewer couldn’t help but insert her mean opinion.

She wrote: “Bye Keesha, take your silly giggle with you.”

Ultimately, Keesha is unlikely to lose too much sleep over the tweet as it’s evident that most of the audience loved watching her on the show.

But while the student’s journey came to an end, Nic still had a lot to play for.

And remarkably, while somehow not knowing what nduja was, she rallied and managed to take home a whopping £2950.

She now intends to make a long overdue trip to California, US, to visit her beloved sister.
