Kimberly Hart-Simpson confessed she would love to return to Coronation Street just one year after she left the Cobbles, and she may end up splitting up one of the soap’s biggest couples.
Loyal fans of the ITV soap will remember her as troubled sex worker Nicky Wheatley who joined the cast in 2020.
Throughout her time on the show, her character tackled a number of emotional storylines, including working as an escort, living as a single mum and even helped Daniel Osbourne battle with the grief of losing his wife Sinead Tinker.

But in 2022, the 36-year-old actress decided to say goodbye to the iconic Cobbles to pursue other acting jobs and TV stints.

Since her exit, the TV personality has gone on to appear on a number of reality shows including Celebs Go Dating and more recently joined forced with EastEnders star Danielle Harold for Celebrity Hunted which is set to air next year.
Despite her career continuing to take off, Kimberly confessed she still has a soft spot for the ITV soap.
In an exclusive interview with Daily Star at the Mummy’s Star Ball, the actress said that she would love to return in the future and even has a new storyline in mind for her character, as she hinted she could have an affair with Adam Barlow.

She said: “I would return to Corrie, yeah. I make no secret about that, I loved my time there but you know it’s also exciting to know what else I can do.
“Obviously I know that Daniel and Daisy are on and off still but then do you know what? I’ve always said this: I think there’s something in a single woman and it’s not seen enough on screen.
“I’d love for a woman to just be single, to go about her dating life. We know that Nicky had a clinical past but I think she’s likely to be a single mum on the dating scene now.”
When she was asked who she would like to see Nicky date on the Cobbles, the actress suggested two men who would be perfect for her.
She pondered: “I actually don’t know but I think her and Gary Windass might be a colourful little duo, but I know that he’s turning over a new leaf now.
“The Adam Barlow scenario would be really interesting because he was really against Nicky to begin with as well.”
