Sandra Bullock’s partner Bryan Randall has sadly died aged 57 after a three-year battle with ALS.
The family revealed Bryan passed away over the weekend following a three-year fight with the condition, which he chose to keep private.
ALS, known in the UK as motor neurone disease, weakens the brain and nerves and is a condition that can shorten life expectancy and eventually leads to death.

A heartbreaking statement released by his family read: “It is with great sadness that we share that on Aug. 5, Bryan Randall passed away peacefully after a three-year battle with ALS.
“Bryan chose early to keep his journey with ALS private and those of us who cared for him did our best to honor his request.”
The statement to People added: “We are immensely grateful to the tireless doctors who navigated the landscape of this illness with us and to the astounding nurses who became our roommates, often sacrificing their own families to be with ours,” they told publication People.
The family also requested privacy at this time.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis which is also referred to as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, is a rare neurological disease that affects motor neurons.
These are the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord that control voluntary muscle movement.

Hollywood actress Sandra and Bryan first met in 2015. He worked as the photographer at her son’s birthday party in the January of the year.
Later on in that year the pair went public with their relationship and made an appearance together at the wedding of Friends star Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux.
During a heartfelt interview on Red Table Talk in 2021, Sandra who is mother to Louis, 13, and Laila, 10, spoke fondly of her relationship with Bryan.
She said: “I found the love of my life. We share two beautiful children— three children, [Randall’s] older daughter. It’s the best thing ever.”
The Bird Box star went on to explain that she didn’t feel she needed a marriage certificate to demonstrate how much they loved each other.
She said: “I don’t wanna say do it like I do it, but I don’t need a paper to be a devoted partner and devoted mother. I don’t need to be told to be ever present in the hardest of times.
“I don’t need to be told to weather a storm with a good man.”
Following her heartbreaking public split from husband Jesse James in 2011 after a cheating scandal had emerged, Sandra has been open about how happy she’s been with the photographer.
