Selena Gomez left fans shocked when she revealed the list of requirements she needs for her next relationship.
The former Disney star has been enjoying a single life and clearly won’t settle after she detailed what she needs in her next partner.
In an interview with SiriusXM Hits 1 in Los Angeles, the star said: “You gotta be cool, man. Not cool in the sense that people think you’re cool.

“You just gotta be nice and like, please make me laugh, and also just be good to my family and people around you.”
In her song Singles Soon she sings the lyric: “I know that I’m a little high maintenance,” and the star addressed this in the interview.
She said: “I think I have standards. And I think I live in a world right now where boys confuse standards with high maintenance.
“But the line was really fun because I’m not ashamed to say, ‘I actually require X, Y, and Z for you to be with me.'”
Selena added: “I think everybody goes through the phase of, ‘oh, it’d be nice to like, to have someone,’ and I get that.
“But I’m just enjoying where I’m at and I just want to be happy with who I am so that whenever that person comes into my life, I can just have them add on to me instead of being the insecure person that I normally used to be.”
Fans have been speculating over what Selena’s new song could be about.
Some fans of Selena thought that she was referencing her ex The Weeknd, in that last line that said: “Maybe I’ll just disappear / I don’t wanna see a tear / And the weekend’s almost here.”
The two dated for 10 months in 2017.
Others thought that she could have been referencing a different ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber but she shut this rumour down.
Selena said: “It’s a playful anthem about being comfortable in your own skin and loving your own company… and it’s also really fun to dance to!”
