Kanye West ‘made employees sleep on floor’ with no windows, called them ‘enemies’

Kanye West allegedly forced his employees to “sleep on the floor in a makeshift bed” with no windows and no power during construction of his unfinished Malibu house.

The rapper is now facing a lawsuit from staffers who have accused him of labour violations in the house, which has been left “rotting in shambles”.

Documents obtained by The Mirror claim the staffer “was sleeping in makeshift conditions, finding empty spaces on the ground and using his coat as a makeshift bedding.

Plaintiff Tony Saxon says he was employed in 2021 as “full-time security and live in caretaker” but was also “utilised for construction-related tasks”.

Pictures shared by Saxon show bare stone walls with a thin sleeping pad arranged on the floor, with his personal items strewn around him with nowhere to be adequately stored.

An unnamed co-worker is also seen lying on his sleeping pad fully clothed, with ladders and unfinished walls surrounding him.

Saxon claims he refused to comply with several “dangerous” demands from the rapper, as Kanye wanted the windows and electricity both taken out of his $55million home.

Tony claims in the lawsuit that Kanye called him an “enemy if he did not comply” with these demands, and “threatened” his employee when he “expressed concerns about the extreme danger” of said wishes.

Legal documents say Tony “chose not to put others and himself at risk and was subsequently told by Defendant to ‘get the hell out.’”

Tony further claimed to The Mirror that Kanye “fired” his ‘wife’ Bianca Censori from the renovation project before their romance began.

He claimed: “I was very close with Bianca throughout the whole thing. Matter of fact, she was benched and I ended up taking her job for that project. And I had felt bad about that. And I kept in contact with her the whole time and we had a pretty good rapport through that.”

Eventually, Tony says, he got Bianca “reinstated” with the Yeezy company, after she referred him for the construction job.

The plaintiff claims he was kept in the dark about who he would be working for until he started the job.
