BBC’s Strictly erupts into chaos as Craig Revel Horwood takes aim at studio audience

Things took a rather awkward turn during the latest episode of Strictly Come Dancing after judge Craig Revel Horwood took aim at the studio audience.

While offering his critiques on Amanda Abbington and Giovanni Pernice spectacular routine, the 58-year-old shared his thoughts on the pair’s footwork and the some of the technical errors that they made. However, the audience appeared not to like his comments as they made some noises behind him.

However, Craig hit back at them and told them. He said: “If you lot cant boo properly then don’t bother.”

A third took to social media and joked: “Craig teaching the crowd how to boo properly.” Meanwhile, a fourth fan added: “Craig bemoaning the crowd’s weak booing. They can’t clap in time so you can’t expect them to boo properly.”

Despite highlighting some of the pair’s mistakes during their routine, Craig did also sing their praises. The judge said Amanda “magnificent musicality” and described her frame as “gorgeous”.

One impressed viewer took to X and penned: “Beautiful! Amanda and @pernicegiovann1 to win! Amanda nails it ever week.”

While another chimed: “To be fair if I was dancing with @pernicegiovann1 every week…even if it was a non romantic dance.. I would try & kiss him at ever opportunity ! Amanda’s kissed him in every dance so far…Don’t blame her!”
