Justin Timberlake’s brutal text ending his three-year relationship with Britney Spears appears to have been revealed.
Details of Britney and Justin’s rocky relationship is featured in Britney’s upcoming memoir The Woman In Me, which is due to hit shelves next week. In her book, Britney also claimed that the dumping followed a difficult abortion at age 19 that Justin had pushed for, believing the pair were “too young” to have kids.
The Mississippi-born star also claimed Justin cheated on her during their relationship, which led to her own infidelity with choreographer, Wade Robson. In an interview with Page Six, director Chris Applebaum has recounted the horrific break-up story.

Chris claims that when Justin found out about Britney and Wade’s affair in 2002, he cut ties with the ‘Gimme More’ singer in a simple text. Chris recounts that whilst working on a two-day shoot with the singer, she disappeared for 20 to 40 minutes – a “long time” potentially costing “20 grand to sit around”.
The director revealed he found the popstar in a desperate state – “sitting on the floor with her legs crossed, her makeup smudged, and in tears.” He says she held up her Motorola flip phone, tearfully showing Chris a text that simply read: “It’s over!!!”
Chris encouraged Britney to return to work, advising her “If you don’t have it in you, I totally understand … but if you want to go out there and finish this last set-up in the rain, you can show him that he just made the biggest f—ing mistake of his life.” Britney returned to shoot the music video for “Overprotected (Darkchild Remix)”, which now has over 3 million views on YouTube.
Now, two years after escaping father’s guardianship, Britney has written a tell-all memoir with plenty of bombshells like that of Timberlake. However, Simon & Schuster, who are said to have worked hard to keep the exclusives under wraps, reportedly paid over $15 million for the book’s rights.
Britney Spears told People Magazine: “Reliving everything has been exciting, heart-wrenching, and emotional, to say the least.” The star has since deactivated her Instagram, avoiding the media’s reaction to her shock confessions.
Now unavailable, Britney previously took to Instagram to write, “I don’t like the headlines I am reading. That’s exactly why I quit the business 4 years ago.” Despite her hesitance to promote the book any longer, Britney’s newest release is already a bestseller, hitting #1 in the Amazon book charts.
Justin Timberlake has not yet commented. Britney Spears’ memoir, The Woman In Me, is set to hit shelves on October 24th.
