Emmerdale’s Ryan Stocks and Gail Loman could be set to welcome their biological son into their home.
Fans were introduced to Oscar (Harley Hamilton) last year when Sophie (Martha Cope) arrived in the village looking for a bone marrow transplant for her son, who had been diagnosed with aplastic anaemia. It was revealed that Gail (Rachael Gill-Davis) and Ryan (James Moore) were Oscar’s biological parents, however Ryan was unaware his son existed.
The couple were reunited with Oscar, who Gail gave up for adoption just weeks after giving birth. Despite the rocky start, they were both able to bond with the teenager and wanted to remain in his life.

But Sophie became jealous of the relationship forming between her son and his biological parents after his successful surgery, going as far as lying that Oscar didn’t want contact with them anymore.
Earlier in the week, Oscar made his way to the village as Gail and Ryan realised they had been lied to. He returned once again to reveal that his mum was aware of his visit to them the day before.
In tense scenes, an angry Sophie burst in before Ryan shared his anger at being lied to. After Sophie is reminded that the decision to stay in contact should be up to Oscar, she allows her son to see his biological parents once again.
But with the arrangement unlikely to remain simple, Daily Star has quizzed one of the world’s most popular artificially intelligent “creative” tools Bard AI to see whether Oscar could choose to live with Ryan and Gail. The program responded: “Gail and Ryan could continue building their relationship with Oscar through supervised visits.
“Over time, Sophie might become more comfortable with the arrangement and allow Oscar to stay with them for longer periods, eventually leading to a possible move-in.” It continued: “Ryan and Gail could consider pursuing legal options to gain greater parental rights, if they believe it’s in Oscar’s best interests.
“This could involve mediation, shared custody agreements, or even full adoption, depending on the circumstances and Sophie’s willingness to cooperate.” The system noted the complexity of the situation and speculated it could lead to further tension between the trio.
Bard AI added: “Sophie’s resistance to sharing Oscar could escalate, leading to tension and conflict between her and Gail/Ryan. This could negatively impact Oscar’s emotional well-being and complicate the situation further.”
