EastEnders’ original Lucy Beale star strips to lingerie and flaunts ‘belly’ as fans swoon

Former EastEnders star Melissa Suffield looked nothing short of sensational as she paraded her figure in lingerie.

The actress, shot to fame playing Lucy Beale on the soap from 2004 until 2010. And since then, she’s amassed a ton of fans thanks to her gorgeous social media posts and body-positive attitude.

Not afraid to show off her killer curves, Melisa has always been candid about body image and self-love. And her recent Instagram post on Wednesday (January 3) is no exception.

In the clip, Melissa oozed beauty and style as she stripped down to pink lingerie to try on a range of leggings. She started the video in her skimpy ensemble while waving to the camera.

The TV star looked red hot in the hot pink two-piece which highlighted her figure. Striking up several gorgeous poses, Melissa grabbed her ‘belly’ before holding up three pairs of different coloured leggings.

In a voiceover, Melissa said: “Hi, I’m The Confident Mama and this is my belly. Now, it’s not just loose skin, there’s some fat in there, too, so it needs supporting. So, I’m gonna show you the In The Style fITS contour leggings in all their three colours.”

While in the caption, she penned: “Leggings for a belly. Now my belly isn’t just loose skin, it can’t be tucked in or hidden away, and I don’t do shape wear. But the overhang and the fat adds weight, so the area still needs.

“Let this be the year that you accept your body and love the shape of it, the way it moves and curves, and work to support it rather than hide it or contort it into sizes and materials that aren’t comfortable. Comment if you want the link!”

Unsurprisingly, fans went wild over the post. Rushing to the comments, one person said: “Love this!” Someone else dished out a compliment and gushed: “You look fabulous and your posts make me feel so much better about my belly.” A third added: “You are gorgeous!

Echoing their thoughts, another fan wrote: “Omg I’m obsessed! You look stunning.” A fifth proclaimed: “Gorgeous! Wish I had your confidence.”

It comes after Melissa as defended herself against some online trolls who targetted her weight. She posted the comment from the mean mum-shamer online to show fans exactly what was in her inbox.

Melissa posted content of her dancing around in her underwear on Instagram as she showed off her fabulous figure. A Instagram cruelly user told her: “You cute but your belly fat isn’t”. To which, she responded: “Wrong, it’s cute as hell,” while showing off her curves.
