This Morning star Siân Welby came under fire from Martin Lewis as he fumed at her on Tuesday (January 23).
The Capital FM presenter, 37, made her debut on the award-winning daytime programme on Monday (January 22), joining forces with Dermot O’Leary for the first instalment of the week. Siân is the most recent star to step in as ITV bosses continue to search for a permanent replacement for Holly Willoughby.
Returning today, the duo welcomed broadcaster Martin, who shared some tips about how viewers can save money this month. But things took an awkward turn when Siân read out the first question.

The TV star said: “Hayley’s come in with a question straight away about her mortgage deal. She said it’s ended, what should she do now?”
The question appeared to be too brief for the 51-year-old to answer in detail as he replied: “Wow. You should be looking for a new mortgage deal. Watch the programme tonight.”
Dermot, 50, stepped in to help his co-star out, pointing at the rest of the question for Siân to elaborate on. “What’s she saying there?” he asked.
Martin fumed: “Well I don’t know because it’s such a short question.” Siân was forced to apologise for the blunder, branding herself “the newbie” before reading out the full question.
Martin decided he had more to work with and went on to answer the question. The frosty interaction didn’t go unnoticed by fans, who took to social media to slam Martin for his harsh response.
One fumed: “How rude! Poor Sian. C***head Martin Lewis.” Another said: “Chill the f**k out Martin!” “#thismorning f**k off martin nasty git,” added a third seething viewer. Someone else agreed: “Oh come on it’s her 2nd day don’t be rude Martin.”
Another weighed in: “Martin is a bit of a moody Margaret today.” Echoing this, a sixth fan wrote: “Is Martin ok? It seems like he needs a big hug this morning.”
It comes after Siân was praised by fans for “bringing fun to the show” on her first day. Sources at the channel have branded the blonde beauty “a rising star” and want to give her the opportunity to present herself in the hope of landing bigger things.
