Celebrity Big Brother bosses have signed up the Princess of Wales’ uncle Gary Goldsmith for the upcoming series.
The controversial businessman has reportedly been negotiating a hefty contract with bosses of the show. He is the brother of Kate’s mum Carole and is keen to go on the show.
A source told The Sun: “Gary is champing at the bit to get on Celebrity Big Brother. He finalised the terms of his deal today and can’t wait to enter the house.”

Gary is keen to get on TV and tried his luck at I’m A Celeb last year but was rejected at the final stage over fears he could embarrass Kate and William.

The insider added: “The CBB team love him because of his link to Kate and the fact that he’s confident and loud and won’t hold back. He’s made it clear he will talk about everything and anything, and he’s pretty outspoken when it comes to Harry and Meghan.
“Gary also holds a deep affection for Kate and Wills and will be able to give a fascinating insight into what it’s really like being related to the future King and Queen.

“He could be TV gold and ITV knows it. The deal he signed is for good money.” The show will start in March and see a whole bunch of celebs try to survive the drama of the BB house. Another celeb bosses wanted to sign was Rebekah Vardy.
However, ex-housemate and pal of Rebekah’s Nicola McLean told us that she wasn’t so sure about going in. Nicola said: “They’re saying in the papers and online that Rebekah Vardy is the one they want to go in there.
“So I messaged her and said ‘If they ask, you have to do it’. She was like ‘I don’t think I’d last in there’. But yeah, I’d love to see her in there.”
